Adam Lambert: Gay Marriage Crusader
Kicking off the day with some air travel, Adam Lambert caught a flight out of Washington DC this morning (September 26).
The “Better Than I Know Myself” singer had a cocky grin on his face as he carried his luggage through the terminal, sporting a grey leather jacket over a black v-neck with distressed jeans.
During his gig at the 9:30 Club last night, Lambert waxed philosophical regarding the Marylanders for Marriage Equality issue also called Question 6.
Adam noted, “The thing I like about Question 6 is that it is not really about politics at all. Yes, you have to vote in order to choose Question 6, but you don't have to be a Republican or a Democrat or either one. It has nothing to do with the partisan [politics]. It's a human rights issue.”
“It has nothing to do with what religion or your moral compass, where it lies. It has nothing to do with that. I have full respect for everybody's religion. Everybody has the right to choose whatever religious, spiritual palette that they want to choose. And that's fine. But if I'm going to respect that path, you've got to respect my equal rights.”
