U2 Pays Tribute to Nelson Mendela with "Ordinary Love" at Academy Awards
Bringing their talents to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, U2 took to the stage at the 86th Academy Awards on Sunday (March 2).
Fronted by Bono, the iconic band performed the hit single “Ordinary Love” from the “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” soundtrack to honor the late political leader Nelson Mandela.
The tune is also nominated for Best Original Song this evening.
