Everyone loves to party for a good cause, and this evening (March 2) stars of all kinds gathered for the 22nd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in West Hollywood.

Glamming up the fancy fete were actresses Ashley Greene, who rocked a knee-length white dress, and Anna Paquin, who made a statement in a black frock with colorful accents as she held hands with hubby Stephen Moyer.

Songstress Britney Spears took a break form her Vegas show to attend in a daring sleeveless gown with a plunging neckline, while tv host Heidi Klum also wore black.

Not to be outdone by the ladies, Ed Sheeran, Chace Crawford, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris and Robert De Niro put in appearances.

Per its website: The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) was established in the United States in 1992 by Sir Elton John, and is headquartered in New York City. In 1993, Sir Elton also established his Foundation as a registered charity in the United Kingdom, headquartered in London. The goal of the foundation is to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS through innovative HIV prevention programs, efforts to eliminate stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS, and direct treatment, care, and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
