They're always up for a fancy fete, and Jonah Hill and Michael Fassbender were in great spirits as they arrived at the 86th Academy Awards in Hollywood tonight (March 2).

Decked out in tuxes, the hunky actors greeted their fellow celebrities outside Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre ahead of the entertainment industry’s biggest event.

Though they were both up for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar, the two lost out to "Dallas Buyers Club's" Jared Leto in a tight category.

It has been an especially-exciting awards show season, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences certainly didn’t suffer from a shortage of worthy contenders from which to choose.

The hopefuls for Best Picture include Cooper's hit “American Hustle,” “Nebraska,” “Captain Phillips,” “Philomena,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “12 Years a Slave,” “Gravity,” “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Her.”
