2014 Oscars Hit 10 Year Ratings High
It was her second time hosting and the Academy may want to think about having Ellen DeGeneres again as Sunday's Oscars hit a ten year ratings high.
This year, Ellen topped Seth McFarlane's turn last year by over 2.5 million viewers for the three hour and ten minute show.
Overall, about 43 million viewers took in the biggest night in Tinseltown, which will be on ABC through 2020.
It seems the friendly comedian is a safe bet, as her last turn as host of the awards in 2007 grabbed 40.2 million viewers and a 14.1 rating with adults 18-49, which hasn't been beaten since.
