With his fifth studio album "Street King Immortal" set to drop in January, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson landed himself a feature in the November 2012 issue of DETAILS magazine.

The 37-year-old rapper pulled off an all-denim look for the Christian Weber shot spread while opening up about why he'll never stand on the side of the road asking for money and his favorite lyrics ever.

A few highlights from Mr Jackson's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to DETAILS!

On relating to the working-class person in his single "New Day:"
"In the environment that I grew up in, you have people who are extremely religious and people who are extremely intoxicated and trying to forget the pains. It's about figuring out how it feels under circumstances where you're not a winner. When I see somebody with a sign, I don't give 'em anything. I don't give a f**k. You stand out there waiting for someone to put something in your cup? Sh*t, I'd be on a chain gang before I'd be standing there like that."

On removing his tattoos:
"My entire right arm was my son's name in the shape of an ax. But my son is still my son, I love him the same. I just don't have a tattoo of his name on my arm anymore."

On his favorite song line he's written:
"'Go shorty, it's your birthday.' It reflects life, man. Because every day is someone's birthday. It never loses relevance."
